Leopold is home.

Aaaand it’s most likely stress.

STRESS. AGAIN. THIS FUCKING CAT.

Anyway, it’s causing some pretty bad bladder issues, although he doesn’t have an infection. So, until further notice, he’s on an all soft food diet.
He also has pain meds for a week. His life is SO rough.

If he’s not feeling better by Monday, they want to run some x-rays to rule out stones. At this point, though, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
His kidneys seem to be working just fine, too, which is great. Older, larger male cats (especially Main Coons) can develop kidney problems and if not treated right away, boom. Dead.

Leopold is 19 pounds, which is MASSIVE compared to Cleo’s 9 pounds, but he’s still well within his weight range for his size.
I’m pretty proud of myself right now. I feed them right, I pay attention to them, and I get them into the vet before anything bad can happen.

I guess I didn’t turn out to be a terrible pet owner, after all.
